The People Who Make Up The Remodeling Company
The greatest strength of The Remodeling Company is our staff of dedicated and talented professionals. We’ve comprised an elite team of licensed Massachusetts project supervisors and managers, expert tradespeople and precise estimators – all with extensive backgrounds in carpentry, remodeling and construction.
Additionally, our office administrators and managers make sure every logistical detail is handled with care and efficiency. You can find out more about the individuals who comprise our company, their specific roles and the unique qualifications they hold in their brief bios below.
Gary Moffie
President
Gary combines his passion for craftsmanship and creativity with keen business acumen to transform older homes into beautiful new living spaces. He understands that accurate budgeting and detailed project management are as important as fine craftsmanship to ensure smooth running, successful remodels. In addition to his understanding and passion for remodeling older homes, Gary has become very involved in remodeling homes for our areas aging population and people with various disabilities, so they can remain in their homes comfortably and safely. To that end, he has earned the coveted national designations of Certified Aging in Place Specialist from the National Association of Home Builders and Universal Design Certified Professional from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI). In addition he has achieved the designation of Certified Graduate Remodeler from NAHB. In his spare time he enjoys playing (lots of) tennis, skiing, boating and hanging out with his wife Jill, their daughters and friends.
Mike Giordano
Production Manager
Mike graduated from Shawsheen Valley Technical High School in 1996. After that, Mike went to work for the family construction company with his father and grandfather until joining The Remodeling Company family in 2000. He obtained his Construction Supervisor License in 2006.
Mike and his wife, Jamie, have a daughter Kelsey and two sons: Mike Jr. and Jason. When not working, Mike enjoys spending time with his family, coaching hockey and playing golf.
Mike Giordano
Production Manager
Mike graduated from Shawsheen Valley Technical High School in 1996. After that, Mike went to work for the family construction company with his father and grandfather until joining The Remodeling Company family in 2000. He obtained his Construction Supervisor License in 2006.

Steven Giordano
Staff Carpenter
Steven graduated from Shawsheen Valley Technical High School as part of the Carpentry Class of 1999. After working at his father’s construction business during his first year out of school, he joined The Remodeling Company. Steven is passionate about and specializes in fine finish work, custom built-ins and cabinetry installation.
Steven and his wife, Devony, have three children: Taylor, Jake and Ryan. His hobbies include playing hockey, riding his ATV and dirt bike, and hanging out with his kids.
Matthew Morrison
Estimator and Assistant Production Manager
Matthew has been around the construction industry since his father Gary started his business in 2001. Matt began working for his father as an apprentice carpenter in 2011 while still attending Salem State University. While working in the field for 2 years, he became familiar with the various aspects of the remodeling industry including demolition, framing, finish work and everything in-between. In 2013, Matt transitioned to the office side of the business, taking on the estimation and scheduling duties.
When his father Gary decided he wanted to retire in 2015, Matt decided not to take over the business. Matthew instead joined The Remodeling Company in February 2016 to continue practicing his specialty of estimation and assisting in production management. In addition to his career, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife Paige as well as friends and family. Matt’s hobbies include learning about history, working on cars and fishing.

Brian Pelleriti
Staff Carpenter
Brian began working for The Remodeling Company during his junior year of high school while studying Carpentry at Shawsheen Valley Technical High School. He joined as a full-time employee in 2017 and has been with TRC ever since. When he’s not in a company shirt, you’ll have a good chance of finding Brian either on the golf course or making his way down some ski slopes.
FAGNER BARROS
Staff Carpenter
Fagner Barros began his career in carpentry by immersing himself in the trade and learning as much as he could about various aspects of the industry. As such, he brings a great deal of talent, knowledge and versatility to each job with The Remodeling Company. Although he grew up in a tropical Brazilian climate, he has adapted to the ever changing New England weather with ease! Fagner’s range of skills and outstanding attitude are a welcome addition to our team at TRC.

STEVE MORELLI
Master Plumber
Steve is a 2003 graduate of the Plumbing & Pipefitting program at Northeast Metropolitan Regional Vocational High School in Wakefield, MA. As a youngster, he’d watch his grandfather work on oil heating systems and decided to take it further into plumbing where he earned his Master’s Plumbing license.
After gaining experience with other plumbing companies, he started his own company in 2012, Morelli’s Plumbing & Heating Inc., and grew the business to include both residential and commercial customers. At the end of 2022, he merged his business into the Plumbing Division of The Remodeling Company where he continues to serve his customers and develop new ones.
During his leisure time, Steve enjoys being with family, including his wife Missy and his son Kyle, who will soon be joining him in the plumbing trade. He enjoys vacationing in New Hampshire on Lake Winnipesaukee, and vacationing in Florida.
ANDREW CAPOBIANCO
Assistant Plumber
Prior to working at The Remodeling Company, Andrew was a Bartender for years. Along the way he decided to change career paths, and started studying and learning the plumbing trade under the tutelage of Steve Morelli. He enjoys it very much and hasn’t looked back! In Andrew’s free time he likes to play guitar, go to concerts and spend time with his family. He is also a new father to a baby girl, who will undoubtedly keep him busy unclogging hair from drains as she gets older.
ANDREW CAPOBIANCO
Assistant Plumber
Prior to working at The Remodeling Company, Andrew was a Bartender for years. PEGGY COTTER
Bookkeeper
Peggy brings her extensive experience in bookkeeping – particularly with small businesses – and her great sense of humor to The Remodeling Company. Born and raised on the North Shore, she enjoys exploring the area’s restaurant scene with her husband, spending time with her grown children and their families, and appreciating the special places that this corner of the world offers.
TOM FOLEY
Staff Carpenter
Tom began working for the Remodeling company in 2023 as a student in the co-op program at the Shawsheen Valley Technical High School. He became a full time employee after his graduation in June, 2024. When Tom isn’t on the clock he likes to go to car shows and ride dirtbikes.

JEFFREY BOIS
Staff Carpenter
Jeffrey began his career at the age of 17 in a custom cabinetry shop, starting with a push broom and making his way up to foreman in just a few years, due to his dedication to the art of woodworking. He has been working in the carpentry field for the past 20 years and has done every aspect of the trade, but his true passion lies in high-end finish carpentry. He enjoys a good challenge, and working hand-in-hand with clients and architects to bring their ideas to life. In his leisure time, he finds peace in nature, enjoys camping, hiking, or just being immersed in the woods. He also enjoys anything that allows him to be hands on with his creativity.
KYLE MCGONDEL
Staff Carpenter
Kyle is a versatile carpenter with a strong foundation in carpentry. He has a passion for building and has honed his skills through years of experience and formal training at The New England Carpenters Training Fund. Kyle has worked on a variety of projects since 2017 including residential deck building, commercial construction, and Hollywood set construction. He is knowledgeable about carpentry techniques, building codes, and safety protocols.
When not on the job Kyle is juggling his hobbies including refurbishing antiques, film photography, playing guitar, snowboarding, attending museums or building cars with his brother.

Ryan Olbash
Staff Plumber
Ryan graduated from Whittier Tech in 2014 majoring in plumbing. He worked on his first plumbing job in 2013 and since then, he’s been a journeyman plumber and is always trying to find ways to improve and fine tune his craft. In his free time, Ryan enjoys spending time with his 2 year old son and his wife. When he’s not with them, you might see him on the mountains snowboarding or casting a fishing line.
